We brought our Fuegos knowing that we would be dancing every...read moreMy wife and I just returned from Cuba having been at a week long dance festival (Baila Conmigo in Santiago de Cuba). We brought our Fuegos knowing that we would be dancing every day (workshops) and night (parties) and the Fuegos would be amazing from our experience back home in Canada. What was an even greater surprise was how well the Fuegos fared on a non-dance excursion to a waterfall. I trekked through muddy trails with no difficulty and was able to dance in the hillside. The most incredible part was on our return trek we had to go through streaming water as there was heavy torrential rain for part of the day and the Fuegos allowed me to walk safely and securely through the ankle deep muddy water. The shoes dried overnight and I was able to wear them again for the next day’s dance workshops and party.
